Shengsi is the easternmost island city and belongs to Zhoushan, Zhejiang. Located in the north of Zhoushan, Shengsi consists of a total of 404 islands, large and small, of which 16 are inhabited. People often talk about Sijiao Island, Gouqi Island, Shengshan Island, Huaniao Island, Huanglong Island, etc. When talking about islands, we are often full of imagination and longing. It is picturesque all year round, and the spring scenery is particularly unique. When I set foot on the land of Shengsi Islands again, I feel much refreshed.
Shengsi mainly relies on fishing and tourism income. There are many beautiful scenery here, but it is not so easy to see her once. Starting from Hangzhou, you need to get up at more than 5 a.m., drive for three hours to reach Shenjiawan Wharf, and take a boat to Shengsi. There are two types of boats, one is a fast boat and the other is a passenger and ro-ro boat. Clippers can only carry people, and ro-ro passenger ships can board buses. Therefore, the speed of a clipper is twice that of a ro-ro passenger boat. Everyone can choose according to your own time and needs.

At 7 o'clock in the morning, Hangzhou East Railway Station gathered with his friends and drove to Shenjiawan Wharf. You must take a boat to go to Shengsi, either from Shanghai or Zhoushan. There are also buses from Hangzhou Passenger Transport Center to Shenjiawan Wharf. It takes about 3 hours to drive from Hangzhou to the dock. Just in time to catch the 10.40 clipper to Shengsi, the entire journey was 45 minutes.
After arriving at the pre-booked B & B and settling down, we finished a seafood dinner and officially started our trip.
The first stop we came to Nanchangtu Beach. The sea and sky are vast here, and the breeze is refreshing. Looking from afar, the golden beach appears in our sight. As the ship slowly approached, we also stepped on the soft and delicate sand. The beach had a wide view and the surrounding characteristic tourist attractions were quite exciting.
Special farmhouses, beach football, sea bathing and picnics and barbecues are all good choices. The sun first shines in the morning, and the quiet environment is shrouded in a thin layer of water mist. When the temperature slowly rises, everything naturally dissipates.
Various sand carvings have appeared on the beach. They are lifelike and lifelike, which is eye-opening.
Travel Tips for Nanchangtu Beach

The second stop we arrived at the Dabei Mountain Scenic Area on Shengsi Islands. Taxis can drive directly to the entrance of the scenic area. Although it is called Dabei Mountain, it is actually full of fun. Shengsi Islands have beautiful scenery, surrounded by the sea, and the unique sea scenery makes people forget to leave. Climbing the observation deck, you will find the vast sea in the distance, and seabirds will hover around. Under the blue sky, white sails dot. You can also see the island's sister beaches and have a panoramic view.
Historically, masters of forensics brought countless precious Buddhist classics to Fusang. And this is the starting point. In front of the statue of Master Jianzhen, a large number of tourists rushed to check in to commemorate it. It seems to be close to the ancient Tang Dynasty.

Walking down the road from Dabei Mountain, you will reach the third stop, Lingyin Temple. The name of Lingyin Temple is close to that of Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou. She backs Dabei Mountain and faces the East China Sea. Climbing up the stairs, the ancient pavilions come into view.
Silence inside and outside the Zen Temple attaches great importance to it, and tourists also observe it unanimously. Several monks knocked on the wooden fish, and the sound of ticking kept ringing. In the evening, the bell outside was sounded.
It seems to tell the mystery and glory of this thousand-year-old museum. The legend of Guanyin Bodhisattva is circulated here, and it is said to be the place where Guanyin lived. For thousands of years, Lingyin Temple has been respected by people. Zhoushan and even Zhejiang are well-known.
The fourth stop we arrived at Donghai Fishing Village. This small fishing village is not ordinary. It is the birthplace of Chinese fishermen's paintings and has played a huge role in promoting Shanghai culture in Zhejiang and Shanghai. Today's small fishing villages are economically rich and rich in cultural activities attract a large number of tourists. The fishermen in the village have launched characteristic farmhouses, and every household has started tourism-related sideline businesses.
In the Fishery Customs Square, fishermen sing and dance every day during holidays. They enjoy comfortable evenings. Such a harmonious and lively atmosphere also drives tourists. Brother Niu and his party specially watched the murals in the fishing village. The murals are lifelike, and the fishermen's special painting methods are amazing. In terms of content, most of them are people's unpretentious lives.
Passing by the Fisherman's Painting Exhibition Hall, everyone was immediately attracted by the special artistic atmosphere. After careful observation, various brushwork techniques and vivid themes of fisherman's life are vividly presented in front of your eyes. Among them, what surprised Brother Niu the most was the original site of Jianzhen's eastward crossing. The Buddhist tunnel is full of incense. In the silent night, the evening bell rippled clearly, echoing to the entire sea.
In the distance, there are rolling waves, a full moon emerges from the sea, and the bright moonlight shines on the fishing village. People lit bonfires and lit lanterns, and everything was so peaceful.

Stay in a local specialty B & Bs. Because there is an endless stream of tourists every year, every village has a B & B, and the prices range from hundreds of yuan to thousands of yuan.
The fifth stop is Liujingtan. Liujingtan is at the easternmost part of Shengsi Island. It is the best attraction on the island to watch the sunrise. At the beginning, it was called the end of the land, which means the end of the land.
The pool of Liujingtan does not refer to water pools on land. Its name comes from the fact that there are six bays on the coast of the cliffs here, and the water surface surrounded by these bays is like six wells. The deepest one of the pools is about 70 meters deep, and the bottom is invisible. There is also a "100-acre field" reef on the sea a thousand meters offshore, which means that the area of this reef is as large as a hundred acres. Normally, this sea area is stormy and swirls arise in all directions.
As soon as you arrive at Liujingtan, you will be surprised by the tall lighthouse here. Locals told everyone that the lighthouse was originally built by the Republic of China and was responsible for pointing ships at sea. It has a history of a hundred years. On one side of the lighthouse, mottled traces are clearly visible and have been eroded by hundreds of years of wind and rain. The lighthouse still stands.
Every time a ship passes by at sea, we will think of the glory of this century-old lighthouse. Although the lighthouse is no longer in use, it symbolizes the extraordinary perseverance and spirit of the fishermen. In fact, in the sea in front of the lighthouse, there are a vast hundreds of acres of reefs. These reefs obstruct areas once passed by cruise ships.
However, these reefs have now been marked by the maritime department, and have instead become tourist attractions for Internet celebrities to check in. Whenever the tide recedes, the reef is revealed. It was covered with various marine animals, and black stones came into view. They were connected to each other and were particularly conspicuous on the shallow beach.
Not far from Liujing Lake is Longyin Cave. It is said that there is a dragon inside, and now it has become the best place for tourists to explore. The interior is empty and secluded, with beautiful scenery. Under the upside down stalactites, the gurgling stream flows slowly. The inside and outside of the cave are full of greenery and full of vitality in spring.

Opening hours: 8:00-16:30
Tickets: Liujingtan + monk set joint ticket 90 yuan.
After visiting Liujingtan, we ended our trip to Sijiao Island. After lunch, we took a passenger boat to Shengshan Island. Shengshan Island and Gouqi Island are very close, only separated by a bridge.
At the sixth stop, we arrived at an uninhabited village. This place is known as China's Wizard of Oz. Looking around, countless plants have invaded this place. The greenery makes the tourists who come very happy. Looking up, the ivy is full of cliffs and abandoned houses where no one lives. There used to be a large number of fishermen here, but they have moved away and it has become a paradise for plants.
According to incomplete statistics, there are more than a thousand plant species here. In the spring of April, there are lush flowers and dense branches and leaves here, like a fairyland.
With such green vitality, tourists immediately cultivate their bodies and minds. Everyone gathered together happily and enjoyed the wonderful and unparalleled scenery. At sunset, the afterglow of the sunset fell, and the uninhabited village suddenly became silent.
As the night entered, the plants became quieter. Even so, most tourists are reluctant to leave. This place is unforgettable, and everyone has left too many beautiful memories.

At night, I stayed at one of the best B & Bs in Shengsi, because there is a beach in front of the B & B, and you can see the endless sea from the balcony. With the skylight above you open, you can count stars while sleeping. Super large public areas and infinity pool, which would be great in summer.
We prepared in advance for the last stop on the third day and arrived at the East Cliff before sunrise. The cliff is steep and straight. When I look up, I feel extremely horrified for a moment. It is quiet and secluded here with a good environment. On the bare rocks, many tourists have gathered together, waiting quietly for the arrival of sunrise. It turns out that the East Cliff is the best platform to watch the sunrise.
You know, this is on the side of the East China Sea of my country, and the vast sea is beginning to roll. In the morning, the fog lingered, the black night slowly faded, and the sky appeared a little white. Amidst the weak light, a red sun slowly rose. Slowly, the sea water began to come into view, and the blue sea became clear.
The sea breeze whistles by, making the spring morning no longer irritable. People stopped to appreciate it, while the sun jumped into the sky little by little. After the sky fully appeared, the warm sunshine also shone on the east cliff cliff. At this time, we looked around and found that the East Cliff lived up to its name. There are various types of grassroots and withered vines growing under the cliff, which are as conspicuous as the exposed Tonghuang Reef.
The sea waves came and hit the reef heavily. The cliff watches the sea, and the sea embraces the cliff. The two greet each other tacitly. The dense fog gradually dissipated and the sea was sparkling.
Affected by this atmosphere, the tourists cheered and we had the best morning. By morning, the sea was calm again. Local fishermen began to go fishing, and the sea breeze gradually grew stronger. At this time, the sea water is crystal clear and cold, and the cliffs are tall and vertical. Everything is so incomparable.
